Eric has been on the team since 2022.
With a background in plaintiff-side civil litigation and environmental law, he manages the legal team and directs our policy advocacy and high-impact litigation docket.
Nicole Sasaki
Nicole has been on the team since 2014.
With a background in environmental law and Clean Water Act enforcement, she prosecutes polluters, supports investigations, and monitors compliance with our legal settlements.
BEN EICHENBERG
Ben has been on the team since 2016.
With a background in environmental law and private civil litigation, he prosecutes polluters and government agencies and supports our legislative advocacy.
Christie ralston
Christie has been on the team since 2024.
With a background in environmental law, she supports policy advocacy and litigation related to freshwater flows, and she educates elected officials about the Bay’s watershed.
Denise Raabe
Denise has been supporting the team since 2020.
With a background of many years practicing criminal and environmental law, she helps research and develop new litigation and policy advocacy and assists with in-house legal tasks.
Jonathan Rosenfield
Jon has been on the team since 2019.
With a background in conservation biology and decades of experience protecting the Bay watershed’s endangered fish and fisheries, he integrates science into our legal and policy advocacy.

With a background in natural resource management, climate science, and sustainability, she leads pollution patrols, supports community outreach, and advocates before local government agencies.
Cheryl Patel
Cheryl has been on the team since 2024.
With a background in aquatic ecology, she leads our harmful algal bloom monitoring program and supports community outreach and pollution investigations.
Makayla Marquez

With a background in marine science and community organizing, she manages our pollution hotline, investigates pollution, and supports community outreach and engagement efforts.

With a background in hydrology, he manages advocacy and research efforts and represents us before regulatory and local governmental agencies.

Fiona has been on the team since 2016.
With a background in policy and nonprofit communications, she oversees content development for our website, social media, and print materials, and is also the lead on media relations.

With a background in political communications, she leads Baykeeper’s development efforts, managing supporter outreach, funder relationships, and events.
